The First Person in Asia who Get a Franklin L. Burdette Award

Congratulations to Mr. Saiful Mujani (Lecturer at Islamic State University - Sharif Hidayatullah, Jakarta), which got a prestigious award Franklin L. Burdette / Pi Sigma Alpha Award from the American Political Science Association (APSA).

With these award, Mr. Saiful Mujani has equivalent with international political scientists like Samuel Huntington, Sidney TarrowSidney Tarrow, Michael Wallerstein, and Mancur Olson.

Saiful Mujani received award from the Association of Political Scientists, who the most prestigious world, on a scientific paper "Testing of Islam's Political Advantage: Evidence from Indonesia."

Since 1964, APSA rarely give awards because no one deemed worthy to receive it.
