New 'Mockingjay' Trailer Shows Hunger Games Have Turned Into All-Out War

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1
The latest trailer for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" is jam-packed with action and anguish, as Katniss Everdeen begins to understand that she is the titular symbol of the rebellion in Panem, whether she likes it or not.

"I never wanted any of this," Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) tells President Snow (Donald Sutherland) at the beginning of the clip, explaining that she simply wished to protect Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and her sister, Prim (Willow Shields).

"It's the things we love the most that destroy us," Snow replies with a sinister smile, and indeed, it seems that Katniss and co. are in for plenty of destruction as the rebellion heats up and she becomes more directly invested in the fighting. We see her descend into the underground depths of District 13, where residents are stockpiling missiles and training for combat; we see her blow up a Capitol aircraft and another Capitol attack destroy a district hospital.

It's chaos, and Katniss is caught in the middle of it. Can she maintain the strength it takes to assume her role as Mockingjay -- while also maintaining her sanity? Will she be able to save Peeta, captured by the Capitol at the end of "Catching Fire"?

Audiences will have to wait another two months to find out.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" hits theaters on November 21.
