Tomb of Ancient Rome in Garbage Disposal

Ancient tomb found in Rome from the second century in toxic waste dumps in Italy. The tomb has a plaster and decorations.

Italian news agency ANSA reported that the tomb was discovered under a pile of tons of garbage on the ruins of the 17th century in Pozzuoli, the site of ancient Roman seaside city Puteolanum.

Cleaning workers wearing construction equipment at a location near Naples and got rid of the top pile of garbage. At that moment, these workers found the tunnel to the tomb.

Archaeologists describe these findings as the findings of 'exceptional importance'. Waste disposal site owner has been indicted for crimes in the environment and cultural heritage of Italy.
